The FK8-generation Honda Civic Type R is one of the most impressive hot hatches of the 2010s, and has been a hero car for Honda’s modern performance endeavours since its 2017 launch.
With 316bhp on-tap, the FK8 was the most powerful example of the Civic Type R yet, and the second generation to feature a turbocharged engine after the previous FK2.
As the production run of the FK8 came to an end in 2021, a final hurrah arrived in the form of the Limited Edition model. It weighed in at 48kg less than the standard FK8, dispending of sound insulation and the air-con, as well as the fitment of forged wheels. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres come as standard, and the suspension has been fine-tuned to cope with the demands of track use.
