The Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale is the ultimate version of the 360. Inspired by the Ferrari Challenge racing series that run all over the world, the Maranello marque set out to create a track-focused road car, borrowing tricks from the version of the 360 running in the races.
The engineers behind the Challenge Stradale improved the car’s power output by 25bhp over the standard 360 Modena, bringing the total output to 419bhp. However, a majority of the car’s far-increased performance came courtesy of tuning beyond the engine. The suspension setup is more aggressive and track-centric, and the ceramic brakes are borrowed from the Enzo.
The 360 Challenge Stradale is up to 110kg lighter than the standard 360 Modena, with a stripped interior, lightened body panels and carbon mirrors all a part of the car’s significant diet. This makes the 360 Challenge an engaging driving experience on both road and track, and while it is more forgiving than a pure race car, it is no less engaging if you’re lucky enough to be behind the wheel.
One of 1,288 examples, this particular left-hand drive car was imported to the UK in 2013 and purchased through an Official Ferrari approved dealership. Finished in Rosso Corsa and Stradale Stripes, with a Rosso/Nero Alcantera interior, and carbon racing seats with 4-point safety harnesses. The car had been part of a collection of over 100 Ferraris maintained at Graypaul Nottingham. Since then it has been cared for fastidiously, thus it remains in exceptional condition.
